Do you offer professional development hours?
Yes. Our director trainings and teacher trainings are all eligible for PD hours. We provide you and your team with certificates of completion.
If you purchase a team training, you will receive certificates of completion for all of your teachers who attend, plus you as the facilitator.
Programs find our team trainings to be an exceptionally affordable way to reach their professional development hour requirements.
Are your trainings compatible with different educational philosophies?
Yes. Whether you’re Montessori, Waldorf, Nature based, Reggio, or anything else, we’ve designed our trainings and resources in way that honors the differences in program’s educational philosophies and still gives leaders and teachers practical strategies and tools they can implement right away.
What makes you different than other training organizations?
Rooted Development was built by deeply experienced early childhood educators and directors who understand both child development and the day-to-day realities of running early childhood programs.
Over 40+ years in the field, we saw the same challenges appear again and again: staffing struggles, difficult team dynamics, burnout, classroom stress, and more.
That is why we do not just provide teaching strategies. We help programs build highly effective, repeatable systems for leading teams, supporting teachers, strengthening classrooms, and operating with greater consistency and long-term stability.
These systems were learned through real experience: years of trial, error, reflection, and refinement while building high-quality early childhood programs.
What are 'team trainings' and what do they include?

But in short, our turnkey team trainings are designed to build teacher skills, strengthen collaboration, and create a shared language across your team.
Each training is flexible in length, but most are designed to run 90–120 minutes. As the facilitator, you learn alongside your teachers while we guide the experience through short, practical videos and ready-to-use materials.
The trainings include instructional videos, teacher handouts, and place an emphasis on engaging, discussion-based activities. Our format helps teachers immediately put their new knowledge into practice, and creates a training experience that keeps teachers engaged and coming back for more.
Trainings also include educational parent resources that can be shared with families afterward to reinforce similar strategies at home.
Programs find these trainings both affordable and highly effective for building teacher skills, strengthening team culture, and creating more consistent classroom practice.
How do I sign up for a Rooted Membership?
Schedule a free 30-minute consultation with our founders. During your consultation, we will learn more about you and your program to help you figure out where to start. Once you are ready, we will get your set up on our platform (same day) and walk you through how to use it.

Yes! We believe in high-touch customer service.
If you need help with anything, whether you are having trouble connecting your computer to a TV, choosing the right training, or figuring out how to use the materials, you can call, email, or schedule a Zoom call with our founders directly.
